Tusker Ways

1. Booking & Deposit

To confirm your boutique travel experience with Tusker Ways, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required. Your booking is only considered "confirmed" once this payment is received and we issue a formal booking confirmation.

2. Balance Payment

The remaining 75% balance is to be settled upon your arrival in Sri Lanka.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via Cash (USD/EUR/LKR) or Credit/Debit Cards.

Note: For card payments, a standard bank surcharge may apply.

3. Child Policy

We are a family-friendly travel partner.

  • ✦ Children under 5 years of age: Stay and travel Free of Charge (when sharing a bed with parents).
  • ✦ Children aged 5–12: Supplement charges may apply for extra beds and specific activities.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • ✦ 60+ days before arrival: Loss of deposit only.
  • ✦ 30 – 60 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour cost is payable.
  • ✦ Less than 14 days or "No Show": 100% of the total tour cost is payable.

Note: Refunds are processed minus bank transaction fees.

5. Wildlife & Adventure Activities

As your journey may include visits to National Parks and wildlife habitats, guests must strictly follow the safety guidelines provided by our guides and park rangers. Tusker Ways holds no liability for risks taken outside of these official safety protocols.

6. Poya Days & Local Laws

Please note that according to Sri Lankan law, alcohol is not served in public areas (hotels/restaurants) on Full Moon Poya Days. We highly appreciate your respect for our local culture.
